Enzimi No Gas tablets are double-layered fast/retard, to act where and when needed:
- FAST LAYER: dissolves in the stomach releasing high-dose Bromelain (for protein digestion) and dry extract of Gentian.
- RETARD LAYER: Acts in the intestine with an enzyme blend (Amylase, Glucoamylase, Protease I and II, Cellulase, Lipase).
In addition, Principium Enzimi No Gas provides Alpha-Galactosidase (which helps absorption of complex carbohydrates in food, reducing fermentation processes and preventing gas production) and Beta-Galactosidase.
