Our goal is to preserve and enhance the purity of the active ingredients: therefore, we very carefully determine the most suitable galenic (preparation technology) according to the type of plant, the active ingredient, and most importantly, the purpose of use.
Among the most innovative technologies for example are:
- tablets gastroprotectants of FerPlus Tre-Tard 30 mg and Bromelina 500 mg, which preserve against gastric discomfort and allow the active ingredients to act where they are needed
- tablets gradual release of active ingredients such as C1000 mg Tre-Tard, for better absorption
- sublingual absorption tablets such as B12 1000 Sublinguale, for immediate action

Bios Line products are developed through research and the selection of plant-based raw materials, which are chosen according to defined quality requirements and, where applicable, sourced from agricultural supply chains certified in accordance with EU Regulation 848/2018.
The selection process considers factors such as soil characteristics, seed quality and the cultivation methods used by suppliers, in line with the formulation requirements of each product.
A concrete commitment, starting with the venue
Set in the Padua countryside, the Bios Line headquarters is home to a photovoltaic system comprising 300 polycrystalline silicon solar panels, with an installed capacity of 60 kW.
In 2025, the system generated and consumed 113.0 GJ of electricity, helping to meet part of the company’s energy requirements. For product packaging and logistics operations, Bios Line used materials comprising 98 per cent renewable resources in 2025.
The paper used for specific printed materials and shipping packaging comes from FSC®-certified supply chains.
Plant-based raw materials are selected according to quality requirements defined by the company, considering agronomic characteristics, crop quality and the technical specifications required for each ingredient.

We have made Impact Zero® our business for the past 15 years by contributing to the protection of an annual average of more than 97,700 square meters of forest in Madagascar and Costa Rica..
FRAME
Through a contractual commitment with the FRAME association, the company supports the activities of organizations working to promote alternative scientific methods to animal testing, thereby contributing to the widespread adoption of research practices that comply with European regulatory standards.
FRAME is an independent research charity dedicated to developing, validating, and promoting non-animal methods that will end the use of laboratory animals. FRAME’s vision is a world where no animal suffers for science (www.frame.org.uk).
