Boost your skin’s defences against ultraviolet rays
Exposure to sunlight is essential all year round for the synthesis of Vitamin D3 and for our general well-being, but when excessive or without adequate protection, it can cause damage to skin cells and tissues.
Prolonged exposure to ultraviolet rays can increase the production of free radicals and promote skin photo-ageing, a process strongly influenced by the environment and lifestyle: it can become clearly visible as early as the age of 30–40, but even sooner in cases of intense and inadequately protected exposure.
Photo-ageing is characterised by deep wrinkles, dilated capillaries, the formation of darker patches, and a general loss of elasticity and firmness in the skin. The areas most affected are those most frequently exposed to sunlight, such as the face, neck, décolleté and hands.

How should Principium Sun Beauty be used?

For at least 60 days before sun exposure if you have:
- Blonde or red hair + Very fair and sensitive skin
- Blonde or dark blonde hair + Very fair skin
For at least 30 days before sun exposure if you have:
- Dark blonde or light brown hair + Fair skin
- Brown hair + Normal skin
For those with the fairest skin types, in the event of constant and prolonged exposure to the sun, daily use of the product is recommended.
